The Local Launch Program is designed to give opportunity through partnership to local entrepreneurs by providing support and guidance throughout the planning and opening process. With Local Launch, new and existing retailers have the opportunity to be a part of the vibrant downtown as redefined by First & Main Marketplace.

Build-Out and Permitting Support

• Fit-up Allowance – Qualifying candidates may receive financial support for build-out needs of space.
• Permitting and Licensing Support – Program may include guidance and support to help obtain necessary permits and licenses and to troubleshoot potential issues.

Marketing and Design Assistance

• Financial Assistance with Exterior Store Signage – Local Launch provides financial support to qualifying candidates for exterior signage. Signs would be designed to fit with the First & Main Marketplace brand aesthetic while maintaining the unique style of the individual retailer.
• Financial Assistance with Architectural Services – Local Launch candidates may qualify for financial support for architectural services with First & Main Marketplace designated architect to help with design and layout concepts for store space.
• Support for Grand Opening Party – Financial assistance, utilization of First & Main Marketplace press contacts and marketing space within the Marketplace may be available through the Local Launch Program.

Local Resource Guidance

• Local Professional Resource Guide – Our list of preferred vendors can provide guidance for independent retailers who do not always know where to begin in terms of sourcing vendors and setting up the infrastructure of their store.

Retail Coaching and Training

• Counseling Session with Retail Concepts (independent retail advisors) – The Local Launch Program may include a counseling session(s) with Retail Concepts to help guide the start-up process and identify specific business needs. Additionally, participating retailers may be eligible for an exclusive discount on services with Retail Concepts for projects going forward.

Flexible Rental Terms

• Potential Rent Consideration - Upfront rent relief can potentially be negotiated for qualifying businesses.
